The things that make us cry, the things that make us laugh – these are signs that we have been made in the image of God to reflect His glory to the world. It is these things that make us human, which drive us and break us and put fire in our souls and inspire us to love. It is also these things that have given me a passion to live and tell and hear and feel the story – the great Love Story God has told us and that is reflected in each human story. And this is the great Love Story: that God would create us in His likeness to bring Himself glory; that even though we disobey, He would still love us as sinners; that because of that great Love, He would send His Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem us, His bride; that He would call us and give us the ability and passion to love Him back, and through His love, to love the world. This is the reason that every good human story that touches us does so: because it reflects the great Love Story – in sacrifice, love, pain, friendship, and forgiveness.
This is why my blog exists. Through my writing, photography, and music, I want to be a part of that love story by doing it all for His glory and the inspiration of others.
